John Acton5 StarChris and his people at Precision Tree are fabulous people to work with. I’ve used them twice, first back in August 2017 to remove a 70-foot-tall Silver Maple in front of our house. They did a fantastic job at a very fair price. They brought in a huge crane and made quick work of the tree, using an immense grinder to chew everything up. They ground the stump down well below ground level and regraded the soil. Months later the grass had covered over to the point you would not realize the tree had ever been there.
More recently (July 2019), I had Chris come out to advise me on trimming a couple of large trees and possibly removing some smaller trees in my back yard, to allow me to install some Amateur Radio antennas. Chris immediately recognized what needed to be done and scheduled his team to come by one morning. Within two hours of their arrival, everything was trimmed, removed, and cleaned up.
This is what customer-oriented service is all about. In both cases, they did exactly what needed to be done, effectively and efficiently. They cleaned up and left the yard in great shape and did it all at a fair price. I highly recommend them for any tree related services you may need.Thursday 18th July 2019
Edith Reidy5 StarA storm last night caused most of a large red maple in our front yard to crash. Fortunately, it fell between our house and that of our neighbor,. Chris of Precision Tree Services came almost immediately when the called, sent and excellent team to clear the many fallen branches and cut down the rest of the tree, all work completed without damage to either house! I highly recommend Precision Tree Services for responsive, efficient and professional work.Saturday 14th August 2021
John Manning5 StarHave worked with Precision Tree Services twice... once back in 2016 for 4 tree removals and 3 stump removals... and and then once earlier this month, March 2021, for 3 tree removals.
Great, GREAT experience both times. In 2016, I worked with Chris to get things arranged. In 2021, worked with Joe. Good guys, quick on email and/or phone to get you the info you need. Fast on getting us estimate, and then competitive on price. I showed them my best offer from another company, and they beat it (they live up to their website's claim they will do that!).
The work itself, both times = solid. I'll speak more to the March 2021 job. 3 really tall trees, tucked in between our house and the neighbors' house. They made it work so nicely... carefully felling branches, not a scratch on EITHER house. Worked hard, worked fast, and the crew was polite and quick to wave hello to my 2-yr-old and 4-yr-old sons who watched the entire process out the windows of the house! :)
Very pleased with Precision Tree, and highly recommend these folks. Thanks so much to you all, stay safe out there!Tuesday 1st June 2021
Jim Yu5 StarI needed a large tree in my front yard removed, with an old fence post somehow partially embedded in the tree trunk (I bought the house with the tree and fence post already like that). I called 5 service providers in the area and only 2 of them agreed to remove the tree and fence post, other 3 would only cut the tree down to the same height as the fence post, which would be pointless to me. Chris from Precision called back and gave a reasonable quote, and scheduled me in within next couple weeks. He called me the day before the guys came out to let me know, and called me again after the work was done. Came home to a nice clean front yard. Will definitely use again for future services.Wednesday 8th June 2016
New CuriousThoughts5 StarYou won't regret it.
I have a series of trees along my fence line in the backyard that were planted when the house was built 20 years ago. The tops of one of the Cypress' had broken off during a winter snowstorm and we had a couple pine trees that were starting to lean, so we had precision tree come by and take a look. Chris said the broken tree was ok, but pine trees were in danger of uprooting or breaking (I agreed).
His estimate was completely reasonable, and he was also amenable to my request for a heads-up the night before so that I could be around to manage my totally unreasonable neighbor (if only I could write a review on her...) So I was around to watch them work.
The trees were in a very confined space between the back fence and our patio. His team moved a few small bushes to give them a little more room, then proceeded to take down the trees. I was amazed how quickly and efficiently they removed the trees: dropping the lower branches to the ground, lowering the higher branches on ropes, and dropping pieces of the trunk precisely. In a little over two hours they done and had replaced the plants and cleaned up after themselves.
I was absolutely thrilled with their work and their price. I would recommend them to anyone interested in well-executed tree work, and I am already looking around my yard for other tree projects I might like them to do. You won't be sorry.Friday 19th July 2013
